So, I have finally created my blog! It seems I am one of those individuals who needs to ponder new things. Like getting my ears pierced --- I think I was the last of my friends to finally make that leap! And, now, here I am "blogging." Bear with me while I swim these waters and hope I don't splash around too much, before I learn the proper stroke!
I am not one of those artists who picks up their brush and digs right into the paint, attacking the canvas with wild abandon. That's right. I'm a realist! I take my time; think about my subject; move on to the sketch; finally I get into color. I love intricacy, which doesn't mean I don't like simplicity.
Moving to Florida has enabled me to jump into painting in a way I never thought I would realize. It has always been my dream to paint, and, to live ones dream is a blessing from above.
